The Chesterfield Hotel & Suites is located at the center of South Beach's Art Deco District.   • Cancel Policy: All guests in the room must be 18 years or older unless parent/legal guardian is staying in the same room.  Guests are required to confirm their identity by providing their valid government-issued photo identification.  Children under the age of 12 stay free when sharing accommodation with the parent/legal guardian. Rollaway beds are not provided.

    Room occupancy is recommended not to exceed two persons unless booking our suites. Rollaway beds are not provided. Because of the historic nature of our hotels, most of the rooms are smaller than the average room, therefore not conducive to quad occupancy.
    The credit card you provided to secure your reservation will be charged for the first night plus tax immediately (if you booked a non-refundable rate, the total amount will be charged). If the amount is declined, your reservation will be placed on the "waitlist" and room, rate, and room type are not guaranteed. Upon arrival, full payment for your stay is processed plus $100 authorization for incidentals. We do require a credit card for stay - please no debit cards, prepaid cards, or cash.
    The credit card used for booking must be the same credit card presented for payment at check-in. Credit card holder and ID must also be present.
    We require a $100 pre-authorization hold to be placed on your credit card at check-in.  A pre-authorization is a temporary hold of a specific amount of your available credit limit balance placed on your credit card upon check-in.  Pre-authorization is not a charge to your account, it is a hold on those funds.  Once your actual charge is posted at check-out, it can take anywhere from 24 hours to 30 days for the original pre-authorization to be removed by your bank.  Generally, most banks release the hold within 3-5 days.  It is your responsibility to be aware of how your bank handles all of your transactions, including pre-authorizations.  We are unable to remove pre-authorizations directly through our hotel.
    Cancellation Policy is three (3) days prior to the arrival day by 2:00 PM EST,  unless noted on your reservation as non-refundable. No-shows and cancellations will be charged the first night plus tax penalty. If your reservation is noted as non-refundable, 100% of the total stay amount plus tax will be charged.
    Holiday and special events require a non-refundable prepayment 30 days prior to arrival. No early departures are allowed. Reservations are completely non-refundable within 30 days of arrival. Special events include but are not limited to New Years, Boat Show, Winter Music Conference & Ultra, Memorial Day weekend, and Art Basel.
    We are a smoke-free hotel. We do not permit smoking tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, vape pens, vaping, cartridges containing the liquid of nicotine, cigars in our facility.
    We love pets so feel free to bring along your dog child! Guests traveling with a pet will be charged an additional $250 deposit at check-in which will be refunded at check-out as long as no damage is incurred. Pet must be accompanied and leashed at all times.
    A mandatory daily resort fee of $25.00 plus tax (subject to applicable lodging tax) will be added to the guest room account and includes a variety of amenities and services to lift the guest experience by providing added value to guest's hotel stay.
    We require that all guests abide by 10:00 p.m. to 9 a.m quiet hours.
    No visitors after 10:00 p.m. Visitors are not allowed to use guest amenities.
    Our Housekeeping Staff will honor the “Do Not Disturb” ( “DND”) door hanger once during a twenty-four hour period indicating that the room is occupied.  
    If you exceed the maximum number of guests allowed, you will be asked to rent another guestroom or vacate the hotel.
    No parties, loud disturbances and/or noise-nuisance are allowed or tolerated on these premises.
    You are liable for any damage howsoever caused (whether by the deliberate, negligent, or reckless act) to the room, hotel’s premises or property caused by you or any person in your party whether or not staying at the hotel during your stay.  Any costs associated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the credit card of the registered guest.  In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued.
    We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason(s) that does not violate Federal or State laws.
